My beautiful bird Taylor, I miss you so much, life is so quiet without you. I loved to hear you whistle, you were such a happy little guy, you whistled all the time. Charles whistles beautiful and you picked it up so fast and whistled just like him, I on the other hand am challenged when it comes to whistling, but you didn't care, I taught you a song and you whistled it off key just like me. You would pick up songs from commercials on television, and we think you even made up your own songs. We would hear you trying out little tunes, maybe you were just practicing, but it thrilled me to listen to you. I didn't know before you, that birds got diabetes. You had little episodes where you would be weak, I would take you to emergency, they would take tests, and you would somehow snap out of it. Until, November 14, 2004, I took you to emergency, this time the doctor told me your sugar level was sky high, you had diabetes and birds didn't respond well to treatment, he said there was nothing he could do for you. He said if I took you home I would watch you die. I made the decision to let you go, I couldn't see you suffer if you couldn't get better. My little Taylor, I have your ashes beside my canine babies that have passed. You will always be in my heart, I love you so much, it broke my heart to let you go. I miss your beautiful songs, and your sweet disposition, you made the world a better place, you gave it music. Until we meet again, I will listen with my heart, where I keep you and your lovely tunes.
I LOVE YOU!
Your Mommy.
