Midnight and Muffin

Died: October 16, 2002

These pictures of Midnight, his sister Muffin looked the same. We found them one day at a vacant barn, all alone and screaming of hunger. We brought them home and nursed them, Muffin lived 2 days, Midnight 5.

Midnight and Muffin.... I know that Rascal was there to meet you, when you finally reached home. I know you are no longer alone, cold or scared. I miss you both and what you would have become.

**Below is a poem I wrote when Midnight passed away**

Your favorite treat, I will never know
A favorite toy, I hope someday you will show
What do I remember most about the two of you........................
The loud , content purr and your soft little mew
One thing I would like you both to remember most
Is how we will miss holding you so close
Life here for you guys wasn't meant to be
But God had a plan sending you.....me!
It is said that those who end life, like you two started
Are left at the end of the bridge waiting for a rescuer, still broken hearted
No longer a stray, unloved and uncared for
But a precious Angel held in our hearts forever more!
For this reason that bridge you shall pass where true happiness awaits
I will see you again, my littlest angels, at those heavenly gates!
