Gato

Gato was the best cat a girl could ask for. He was my best friend for 15 years, and he was approx. 3 years old when I found him. He's been thru alot in his life, moving, illnesses, accepting new pets into our home and through it all he was wonderful. He had the most loving nature and best disposition and was always by my side. He was friendly and had a great personality. All he wanted out of life, was love and food...he was the best snuggle buddy ever.

It was so hard to see him grow old. Slowing down, stumbling, losing his hearing but he was a fighter til the end. I know after his girl Mitzi left us last summer, she took a part of him with her, kind of like an old married couple. Well my beloved boy, you are with her once again up in Heaven, playing with mice and watching over us down here on earth.

You were the first one to come into our lives and the last one to leave, watching all the others that came after you go to Heaven first. I feel so blessed for every day I had with you and I miss you so terribly, so does your daddy.

Callie has been searching for you since you left. We got her a new friend yesterday and named him Dexter. He's a funny little guy and I hope he and Callie share the same affection you did with Mitzi.

Sleep sweet our little boy in heaven, I know we will all be together again some day. Love mommy, daddy, Callie and Dexter. Please tell Casper, Chelsea and Mitzi we miss and love them too.
