Lady Born: July 7, 1985 Died: April 9, 1988 Good evening, my name is Lady. I must say Mother chose a simply wonderful name for me as I have riffraff for sisters and a brother that I would rather not mention if you don't mind. I was born just before him on 7th July 1985. I came to Rainbow Bridge ( such a lovely place ) on April 9th 1988. I came well before my time as that stupid vet told my Mother that I would have to be put to sleep, as I would be on medication for the rest of my life as I was diabetic. Mother said why. HE said that if I went out and caught a bird ( such a dreadful thought, I used to like mice as well ) I could go into a coma and pass away. He made Mother believe that there was no alternative. Of course you humans believe in your vet's so Mother thought she was doing the right thing, I don't blame her, I know she loved me very much ( you should have seen her cry when she agreed to have it done ).
My real Mother came to the Bridge after me so we are together again.
