My name is Tiggy. I was born in July of 1981 but mum does not know what date as she saw me in a pet shop window, such a cute little bundle of fur looking as if I had eyeliner on my eyes.

My human sister Sioux was with mum and kept saying, Please, can we have her. Well, mum came into the shop and lifted me out of the window, she was hooked, by my charm, my looks and the kiss I gave her. That did it, I was hers from that day onwards. Sioux loved me as well and was so pleased that mum liked me.

I gave mum 4 lovely kittens even though I do say so myself. Mum was going out in her car one day and as she backed out I ran under the car and the wheel caught me. Mum rushed me to the vet, he took an x-ray and my pelvis had moved in a little bit. Mum asked him to abort my babies as I could not give birth without terrible pain but the vet said that when I was in labour the pelvis would move back naturally as I was close to my due date. The only trouble maker out of the 4 was the only male, Clyde. Mum should have named him Dennis the Menace. He was always getting into some mischief or other.

He got fed up with the dogs and other cat's and left home in 1999 to live with a little old lady just up the road. He was the boss in that house and was spoilt. I came to Rainbow Bridge on 8th August 1997 because I was getting old (I was 16 ) and my kidneys were not working as they should. I never had been ill before apart from the car accident. Mum took me to the vet and he helped me come to Rainbow Bridge where the grass is green, the birds are singing all the time and the flowers are so beautiful.

I am with all mums other darlings now and we have grand chats about our time with mum on the earth plain. I do go to visit mum and I know she can feel my presence as she looks at the part of her leg that I am rubbing against.
