Smokey

To my Smokey, I found you in Sept (on my my birthday) a little black kitten so fragile but with such a will to live.
The vet gave you your birth date has July 4th.

Yesterday after a long illness Christmas Eve you died in my arms.

Today is Christmas Day and I buried you.

I know you suffered so long because you did not want to leave me. It's ok now. I look at your grave from my kitchen window and know your back legs work again and you are no longer the 2 pounds your were at your death.

I promise your Mommy will see you again.
I will love you forever.
Buttons is also waiting for you. I love you both so much.
