Buck

Buck

Born: May 1988

Died: October 10, 1998

BUCK was our first companion and protector. He was a long haired, German Shepard; a very beautiful dog. Like his owners, he was a world traveler. Living in places like the Netherlands, New Mexico and California. He loved exploring places with us, running through the woods and taking long walks. One of my fondest memories of Buck, was him charging through the freshly fallen, powder snow, in the mountains of New Mexico. The snow was over 12 inches deep, but he ran over the top of it like he was a sled. He had the time of his life that day. We settled down in our home state of Missouri and shortly discovered he had developed Degenerative Myopathy. It was a painful and heart wrenching ordeal, but it was clear we had to let him go. We miss him so much. He always protected our home and watched over my wife and young son while I was deployed on military duty. He was a great friend to his cat buddies at home. Thanks "Buck" for being such a great dog. We love you
