Zack

zack was my "baby". at a very young age he was hit by a car and lost his tail. his beautiful husky tail. but that didn't stop him from leading an incredible life.

he was my "baby zack"...always with me. traveling with me. he lived in paris france with me. he traveled across the united states twice. he went to NYC and had gotten lost. (luckily found the same day) he fell out of my bmw when it was moving. he was a survivor.

he had such a personality. like other huskies, he loved to talk. not a big barker. but he would tell you when he was upset. he was stubborn.

he loved the car. he always wanted to be with me. he would wait hours in the car for me. he preferred that then being "left behind".

in the end, when the vet told us we should put him down. I refused. I couldn't kill my "baby". the last week of his life i was away on business. my husband told me that he wasn't doing well. the night before he died i had had my husband put me on speaker phone. i told him, "zack, wait for me. i'm coming home. wait for me." i came home the next day...just in time. he died 3 hours after i got home. he waited for me. he gave me one last kiss when i arrived home. it was cold.

he was my "baby". i shared my food with him, i took him everywhere with me, i even lost an apt becuase of him. loyal to the end...
