Maxie "big head" how I miss you so. It has been one day since I sent you off to feel better forever and I am only hoping that I didn't wait too long. I wanted to fix you so you could stay with me, here, for longer. I am sorry that I failed.

I will always remember the day we met at the Humane Society. You were an angel sent to me, just staring at me from that small kennel with that sad, pouty face. I miss you so much and I love you so much more. I am sorry that we didn't meet sooner and that you couldn't have stayed longer, but we will see each other again...one day.

Until then, Maxwell Nicholas, you keep on running in the big wheel, my big hamster, and know that I will remember you always.
