Metro

"My Metro" as I called him, was such a sweet hamster!! He always used to find ways to get out of his cage and hide in our shoes or go under the couch. We usually had to bribe him with mac and cheese. He loved to be played with. I remember I used to watch him stuff his mouth with his food and it looked so cute how his cheeks were stuffed with food. One day I went to NJ to visit my family and left him with my mom, and when I came back, i saw his cage was empty. I thought he may have gotten out again, but my mom told me he passed away. I felt as if my world had shattered. I loved him with all my heart. I could always find comfort even through my times of despair when I had him. Later on, I buried him in my backyard. Although he left this world, I knew he would never leave my heart.
