J. D. Brice

J. D. "Jim" Brice, age 66 of Ennis, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 26, 2006. He was born on March 6, 1940 in Winters, Texas to James and Iris Brice. Jim was a retired Sergeant First Class of the United States Army with 20 years. He drove for Trimac Tank Co. for five years. Jim loved the 85 Dirt Track.

Jim is survived by his wife Harriette Brice of Ennis; daughter, Ranell Brogdon and her husband Neil of Reidsville, GA; step-son, Willie Bugg, Jr. and his wife Stefanie of Lexington Park, Maryland; three grandchildren, Kylea Brogdon, Emily Bugg, and Matthew Bugg, faith companion, Chole, his Golden Retriever; step-father, Dan Johnson of Abernathy, Texas; sister, Naomi Lewis of San Diego, California and four step-sisters, Genieva, Chele, Linda, and Lera. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-sister, Betty.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 1, 2006 in The Chapel of The Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until service time.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, the American Heart Association, or the Diabetes Foundation.
